i have expressed before how much i love my job. but seriously. i cannot even put into words how grateful i am right now.
when i decided i wanted to be a nanny, i have quite a few people telling me that they had heard horror stories and to be careful and blah blah blah.
i am SO blessed to be working with the family i am working with. let me just tell you something.
i always knew that my family i work with were awesome, and generous people. but tonight, they outdid themselves.
as you may know from me talking about it in the past, one of my very best friends is getting married in about 2 months. since the second she got engaged, i have been searching for a roundtrip flight that was a fair enough deal to come home for only a few days. as time went on, i became more and more sure that i wasn't going to be able to get home for the wedding.
but tonight, we had a "check-in" just to make sure everyone was happy and i still loved my job (which i do... obvi) and... they told me that to show their appreciation for me, they bought me a ticket home for the wedding.
don't worry, i almost cried. and i haven't stopped smiling since. i have also been sitting in my bed literally bouncing up and down. life is great guys. and i'm sorry you're bosses aren't as awesome as mine are.
