have i ever mentioned how much i love my job? things have been crazy and very abnormal the past few months and today it was almost back to normal. i'm so lucky to have been put with the family i was put with.
today while in the car, my nanny mom was teasing my 6 year old about loving one of her older brothers friends and she said "mom! i don't love anyone! except my family. and mia" and then her mom said "well, mia is pretty much family so.."
it was such a small thing and she probably didn't even think about what she was saying but it actually meant a lot to me.
we had a fun evening of making fish (yes, i ate fish for dinner. my mother will be proud) and baking banana muffins and playing and joking and laughing and it was great. after dinner, i just hung out with them for a while, they're my family away from family.
feeling so blessed.
